Our process
How It Works
US Appliance Care is a referral service. We pass your request to independent local appliance repair professionals who may be able to help. Here is exactly what happens.
Simple process
Four Simple Steps
Tell us about the problem
Submit a short request with your appliance, the problem and your ZIP code. It takes a couple of minutes and there is no charge to submit a request.
We pass it to a local professional
We share your request with independent appliance repair professionals who may serve your area. Whether one can help depends on your location and their schedule.
The provider contacts you
If a provider can help, they contact you to arrange a visit. They diagnose the problem and give you their price before any work starts.
You decide
You choose whether to go ahead. Any repair agreement, payment and warranty is between you and the provider.
What Happens After You Submit
- You’ll see a confirmation on screen once your request has been received by our system. If something goes wrong, the form tells you and nothing is sent.
- Your request is not an appointment yet. An appointment exists only once you and a provider agree a time.
- A provider may contact you by your preferred method if they serve your area and have availability. We can’t guarantee that a provider will be available.
- The provider diagnoses the problem and tells you their price. Many providers charge a diagnostic or service-call fee — ask about it when they contact you.
- You decide. You are never obliged to accept a quote. Any agreement, payment and warranty is between you and the provider.

- Ask for the price — including any visit fee — and warranty terms before work starts.
- If the appliance is under the manufacturer’s warranty, contact the manufacturer first.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a request the same as a booked appointment?
No. Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment. If an independent provider in your area can help, they will contact you to arrange a time that works for both of you.
Who will repair my appliance?
An independent, local appliance repair professional — not US Appliance Care. We pass your request on; the provider you choose carries out the work and is responsible for it.
How much will the repair cost?
Prices are set by each provider and depend on the appliance, the fault, parts and your location. Many providers charge a diagnostic or service-call fee. Ask for the price — and whether any visit fee is credited toward the repair — before work begins.
Does it cost anything to submit a request?
No. There is no charge to submit a request on this website, and you are under no obligation to hire anyone.
Do you service my area?
We accept requests from across the United States, but provider availability varies by location. We can’t promise that a provider will be available near you, and if none is available you won’t be contacted by a provider.
What information do you share with providers?
The details you submit about your request: your name, contact details, ZIP code, appliance and problem description, so a provider can contact you and understand the job. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can you fix my appliance under the manufacturer’s warranty?
If your appliance is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, contact the manufacturer first — repairs by other providers may not be covered. We are not affiliated with any manufacturer.
What should I check before submitting a request?
Simple checks — the power supply, the breaker, the water supply and any error code — can save time. Each category on our Appliance Repair page lists safe things to check. Never open panels or work on gas, electrical or sealed refrigeration parts yourself.
