Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of us-appliancecare.com (the “Site”), operated by US Appliance Care (“US Appliance Care”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Our service
US Appliance Care is a referral service. The Site lets you submit a request for help with a household appliance, which we share with independent, third-party appliance repair professionals (“Providers”) who may be able to help. We do not perform repairs, employ Providers or supervise their work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a Provider.
2. Requests are not appointments
Submitting a request does not create an appointment, a contract for repair services or a guarantee that a Provider will contact you. Provider availability depends on your location, the appliance and the Provider’s schedule. An appointment exists only when you and a Provider agree one.
3. Providers are independent
Providers are independent businesses. They set their own service areas, availability, prices, fees, parts, warranties and terms, and they are solely responsible for their services, including licensing, insurance and compliance with law. You are responsible for evaluating any Provider before hiring them, including confirming licensing and insurance where your state or locality requires it. We do not guarantee the quality, timing, cost, safety, legality or outcome of any Provider’s services.
4. Eligibility and your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States.
- You must provide accurate information and have the authority to request service for the appliance and location you describe.
- You agree that we may share your request with Providers and that we and Providers may contact you about it, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You will not submit false, abusive or automated requests, or interfere with the Site’s operation or security.
5. Fees
There is no charge to submit a request on the Site. Any diagnostic fees, service-call fees, repair charges and payment terms are set by the Provider and agreed directly between you and the Provider. We do not collect payments through the Site.
6. Safety
Information on the Site is general and is not professional advice. Do not attempt electrical, gas or refrigerant repairs yourself. If you smell gas, leave the property and contact your gas utility or 911 from outside.
7. Intellectual property
The Site’s content, design, illustrations and code belong to US Appliance Care or its licensors. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Appliance brand names belong to their owners and are used only for identification; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and our service are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and any warranty regarding Providers or their services.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, US Appliance Care will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage arising from a Provider’s acts, omissions, services or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or our service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify US Appliance Care against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Third-party sites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the Site or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable US federal law and the laws of the state in which US Appliance Care is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your state of residence require otherwise.
